Dr. Lentz graduated from the University of Colorado School of Medicine in 2001 and completed the Fort Collins Family Medicine Residency in 2004, earning board certification in Family Medicine. After several years serving a rural Washington community, she returned home to Northern Colorado to continue practicing—and eventually opened Direct Family Care of NoCo in 2018 after stepping away from the traditional healthcare system.

Over the years, Dr. Lentz’s approach to medicine has transformed.  Rather than waiting for disease to strike, her focus is now on helping patients stay healthy in the first place—and if they’re already sick, she works to reverse disease and reduce or eliminate the need for medications. She is a family medicine physician who will treat chronic disease with appropriate medications when needed, Her toolkit also includes powerful lifestyle strategies: dietary changes, muscle building, sleep optimization, stress management, and hormone balancing. Her goal is simple but profound: to help patients go from “not well” to a long, vibrant health span.

Board certified in Obesity Medicine since 2016, Dr. Lentz has long championed  nutrition  for treating metabolic disorders. Her commitment is personal as well as professional—she and her family live the lifestyle she teaches.

Dr. Lentz’s greatest passion is building true doctor-patient partnerships, working alongside her patients to restore and maintain their health. Practicing in a Direct Primary Care model allows her to offer deeply personalized, unhurried care—free from the barriers and bureaucracy of traditional systems.

In addition to her metabolic health program, Dr. Lentz has expanded her services to include InMode aesthetic technology and will soon offer Biote hormone optimization, aligning with her mission to help patients look, feel, and be their healthiest—inside and out.
